Whether you need an update for an existing test-stand or something designed and built from the ground up.
KFB has the right combination of software, hardware, test development, and fabrication skills to support your job.
Test Stand Development
Reverberation Chambers
Reverberation chambers are rooms where sound reflects many times off all walls. Sound decays very slowly in reverberation chambers. Under such conditions, the sound reaches a given point from all directions, regardless of the location of the sound source. We offer design and construction of reverberation chambers that meet the requirements indicated by the standards and the customer. We also offer validation measurements of existing reverberation chambers to check if the chamber meets the required criteria.
Anechoic Chambers
Anechoic chambers are specialized rooms that must meet very strict acoustic criteria. There is practically no reflected sound inside the anechoic chambers. This allows for precise acoustic measurements (eg. sound power level) under free field conditions. We offer design and construction of anechoic chambers that meet the requirements indicated by the standards and the customer. We also offer validation measurements of existing anechoic chambers to verify if the chamber meets the required criteria.
Acoustic test stands
There are many products for which the procedure for determining acoustic parameters is described in a standard dedicated to a given product (for example: for fans). In this case, dedicated standards take precedence over general standards. Therefore, there is a need to build test stands dedicated to a given group of products, which is associated with the requirement to meet additional conditions and recommendations that are not necessarily included in universal standards. KFB provides this type of test stands.
Acoustic measurement rooms
Experiments conducted at various test stands are often accompanied by noise generation. If the test stand is close to people's workplaces, this can be a big problem. KFB Acoustics offers the construction of special, acoustic measurement rooms that will protect both the persons conducting the tests and those in the vicinity of the test site from noise.
