Recently our Colleague – Dr. Iván Herrero-Durá from R&D department of KFB Acoustics – was one of the main experts during seminar talk with Prof. Jorge P. Arenas, organized by the Faculty of Engineering of the Austral University of Chile.
The launch of spacecrafts is the biggest acoustic event generated by the human being. In these events, extreme acoustic conditions are generated that can lead to structural and safety problems. In this seminar, the context of this problem and the design of a possible solution based on Helmholtz resonators was discussed.
