International Year of Sound 2020-2021

The International Year of Sound 2020-2021 is a global event organized internationally and including online and on site events all around the world. It was organized to mark the significance of sound around us and importance of sciences dealing with it but also to raise public awareness of the impact of sound on all aspects of human lives.

The website of the event, created on the occasion of the IYS, contains the variety of online resources for specialists working with sound on a daily basis as well as amateurs, eager to learn more about the world of sound around us. KFB Acoustics also has its share in creating those resources. One of them is Acoucou – an educational platform with a variety of materials dedicated to professionals as well as students and teachers of acoustics (https://acoucou.org/).
